3 New Ways To Nurture Yourself

There is something about the shift from winter towards summer that allows for a deep feeling of relief.  Everything feels lighter; we wear less clothing, we run outside barefoot with our kids, we eat fresher food.  And everything slows down; everyone is on vacation, responsibility loads seem to lighten. But for most of us, this doesn’t mean we are suddenly totally free of all the things weighing us down.  

As a practicing women’s and relationship therapist, one of the most important lessons I have learned is that in order to improve truly nurture and care for the relationships in our lives, we must first focus on the relationship with ourselves.
